COVID-19 Short-Term Employment Opportunities

Workweek: Part-time hours, weekends available.

On call: no

Reports to: Vaccine Branch Immunization (IZ) Strike Team Leader

Duties: Receives and completes daily assignments from Strike Team Leader. Follows protocols and procedures and completes all required training. Attends daily briefing meetings. Executes COVID-19 vaccination methods determined by Standing Order and CDC/ACIP guidelines. Stays up to date on knowledge of patient education packets, required documentation, privacy policy, HIPAA practices, COVID-19 vaccine standing orders and Immunization clinic protocols/procedures. Appropriately utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) in each exposure zone. Accurately verifies uses 2-identifers (name and DOB) for patient – vaccine administration. Performs IM injections follow standard protocol. Educates patients regarding vaccine risks and benefits, EUA, documentation, potential side effects, V-Safe app. Assists in training new staff vaccination staff. Follows site opening and closing procedures as directed Immunization Clinic protocols. Screens patient for vaccine eligibility prior to vaccine administration. Monitors patients for adverse reactions post vaccination. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must provide documentation of current licensure.

Work Location: One location

Workweek: 20-40 hours per week, with rotating evenings and weekends and holidays.

On-call: No.

Task: Prepares and posts COVID-19 vaccine billing claims in a timely manner. Audits and correct billing codes. Follows Medicaid, Medicare, third-party insurance contracts/billing procedures. Reviews and accurately corrects patient demographic, insurance, and screening/intake information.  May assist with posting payments. Other duties as assigned.

Workweek: 12-20 hours per week, mainly weekends and holidays.

On-call: No.

Task: Be a resource on all general COVID-19 information for community members. Direct callers to appropriate information on the Missoula county website or CDC website. Stay up to date on CDC guidelines, county and state directives. Act as a "funnel" for MCCHD - send callers to the proper departments. Cover for coworkers that are requesting time off. Relay pertinent COVID-19 updates to supervisors and coworkers. Follows all agency protocol and procedures, including wearing a face covering, proper hygiene, social distancing, and other measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 when working.

Other duties as assigned.

Workweek: 20+ hours per week, mainly evenings, with some weekends and holidays.

On-call: No.

Task: ​Receives and completes daily assignment from  Administrative Leader Follows all agency protocols and procedures.

Processes incoming laboratory and provider reports in SR Fax and Copia for Missoula Testing Clinic results and compiles for RN Coordinator. Compiles and mails lab result letters to identified individuals by direction from RN Coordinator. Monitors voicemails and delivers messages to appropriate staff for follow up. Scans all testing records/patient information and saves per agency protocol. Follows-up with patients or labs to obtain relevant medical and demographic information.

Coordinates with Patient Services Group – Group Supervisor to report accurate and timely data updates.
