The health department's mass vaccination clinic in the former Lucky's Market at the Southgate Mall is accepting walk ups for COVID-19 vaccines during specific hours next week.

Clinic schedule:

Thursday, April 22 - Moderna 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Walk up only

Friday, April 23 - Pfizer 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Appointment only

Monday, April 26 - Pfizer 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Walk up only

Tuesday, April 27 - Moderna 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk up + Appointments

Wednesday, April 28 - Pfizer 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk Up + Appointment

Thursday, April 29 - Moderna 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk up + Appointments

Friday, April 30 - Pfizer 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk up + Appointments

Saturday, May 1 - Pfizer 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk up only

NEW: Parents and Guardians, unaccompanied minors can get vaccinated at our clinic with the proper paperwork.

Please note: 16 and 17-year-olds can only take the Pfizer vaccine as it is the only vaccine approved for use in that age group.

Getting Back to Normal

At the Board of Health meeting on April 15, 2021, Board Members voted to move most COVID-19 mitigation rules to recommendations. The face covering requirement remains in place for Missoula County, however the Board adopted a goal, which if met, would move the face covering requirement from a rule to a recommendation. At least 60% of Missoula County's eligible population must have at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine, the COVID-19 case incident rate 7-day average per 100,000 people must be no higher than 25, and it can be no earlier than May 11 that the mask requirement turns to a recommendation.

Six-foot social distancing, mask use, and frequent sanitization remain some of the strongest tools to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and are highly encouraged.

Moving from restrictions to recommendations allows entities flexibility in creating safe environments for their employees, customers, and visitors and recognizes the progress our community has made in slowing the spread of COVID-19.
